Prevention Education

The ultimate goal of our prevention-education program is to lessen the need for all of our other services in the future.  Only prevention education offers any hope of stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS; it the only "vaccine" available for our youth.

Tyler AIDS Services teaches prevention educations to a wide variety of people--teens in church groups, students in public highschools, health-care professionals, and inmates in prison.  Instruction is focused to achieve the greatest influence on each student by tailoring presentation and materials to be both age and group appropriate.
